About Spicy Mayo: an independent AI image and video studio
Spicy Mayo AI (spicymayo.co) is an independent studio for generating images, editing photos and making short videos with Nano Banana 2.1, Nano Banana Pro and other released models. It is a small, browser-based studio that launched in September 2026 and accesses released models from Google, OpenAI, Black Forest Labs, ByteDance, Kling and MiniMax through fal.ai. It is not affiliated with any of them.
What we build
Spicy Mayo is an application layer: a studio that puts several released models behind one prompt box, shows the credit cost before you generate, keeps your creations, and lets you download them. The model that makes each result is always named.
Image models today: Nano Banana 2.1 (Google), Nano Banana Pro (Google), GPT Image 2 (OpenAI), Flux Kontext (Black Forest Labs), Seedream 4.5 (ByteDance). Video models: H3 Max, Veo 3.1, Veo 3.1 Fast, Veo 3.1 Lite, Kling v3, Kling 2.5 Turbo, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.0 Fast, Happy Horse 1.1. The model catalog lists the settings and credit cost of each one.
Spicy Mayo ships as two products: the web studio at spicymayo.co and a mobile app. This website describes the web studio.

Why “Spicy Mayo”
About the name. "spicy-mayo" is the codename of an anonymous image model first reported in Arena's blind image battles on 9 September 2026. Testers believed it was Google's next Nano Banana and nicknamed it "Nano Banana 2.5"; Google never announced a model by that name. On 6 October 2026 Google released Nano Banana 2.1, and several trackers report that this is what the spicy-mayo test model became — a link Google and Arena have not confirmed. Spicy Mayo (spicymayo.co) is an independent studio named after the codename. We are not affiliated with Google, Google DeepMind or Arena. Nano Banana 2.1 and Nano Banana Pro are both selectable in the studio. Last reviewed: .
We registered spicymayo.co on , two days after the first public reports of the codename. We keep a dated, sourced tracker of what the codename is and what it became, and we will never present an unreleased model as something you can use here. Read the spicy-mayo model tracker.
How we access models
Every image and video in Spicy Mayo is generated by a released model that we call through fal.ai; we train no models and run none of our own. Billing is handled by Stripe and the site runs on Vercel. You do not need an API key: a signed-in account, an active plan and enough credits are all the studio asks for.
We offer only models that are publicly released and documented by their provider, and we name the model on every result so that you can check its documentation yourself.
Independence and trademarks
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google, Google DeepMind, Arena, OpenAI, Black Forest Labs, ByteDance or fal. Model names are trademarks of their owners; Nano Banana and Gemini are trademarks of Google LLC and GPT is a trademark of OpenAI.
- We do not run the anonymous Arena model “spicy-mayo”, and nothing called “Nano Banana 2.5” exists to run.
- We publish no testimonials we cannot link to, no model counts without a list, and no benchmark numbers we did not measure ourselves.
- We label every status claim about third-party models as official, reported or speculative, with a source and a date.
What we verify before publishing
Every claim about a third-party model carries one of three evidence labels: official for a first-party page from Google, Arena, fal or OpenAI, reported for a named third party with a dated link, and speculative for a single anonymous source, rumour or inference. The label travels with the claim, and the source is linked next to it.
Status pages show the date of our last check of the Google, Arena and fal pages, and we update that date, the timeline and the news page together. Current line: “Status as of : Google released Nano Banana 2.1 (model id gemini-nano-banana-2.1) on 6 October 2026. Whether the Arena model codenamed spicy-mayo shipped as Nano Banana 2.1 is reported by trackers and not confirmed by Google or Arena. No model named "Nano Banana 2.5" has been released.”
When we compare models we run identical prompts through the studio, keep the job records, state model, size, aspect ratio, credits and date on every image, and show the outputs rather than a score. Read the comparison methodology.
Pricing transparency
The studio shows the credit cost of every generation before you confirm it, and a failed generation returns its credits. Plans, renewal terms and per-model rates are published on one page each: pricing and renewal terms and how credits work. A subscription is required to generate; there are no free generation credits.
Contact
General questions, press, billing and support: use the contact link in the studio's account menu (a spicymayo.co mailbox is being set up). For billing, include your receipt reference. Never send a password or a full card number.
